Note – the descriptions below are related to staff who are granted ONLY sales access.
- Sales rep CANNOT see the commission amounts of other reps on loads or see the other reps who may also be commissioned on the same load.
- Cannot create carriers solely as Customer Sales; must be granted this access under Operations.
- No direct access to Accounting section – must be granted access under Accounting staff access.
- Cannot assign loads to self in the Assigned To field on shipment profiles; can only assign staff who are Accounting access and higher.
- If the internal notification on the staff profile called “Shipments created by customer” box is checked and user has ONLY sales, the user will only see notifications in the bell icon for the customers they are assigned to when a customer log in creates a load.
- Must be granted access to Sales Level reports under Reports access to view.
- Must be granted Report Builder access under Reports to be able to use this function and must also have Sales checked off in order to see reports accessible by Sales.
The following sub-access levels are related to Sales:
- View Only Customers That Sales Rep Is Assigned To – User can only see the customer accounts they are assigned to as a sales rep via Commissions.
- Visibility of Claims Log of Assigned Clients – Ability to view the Claim Log entry created for a load. Cannot access the entire Claims Log to see all entries.
- Permission to Edit Claims Log of Assigned Clients – Can Edit/Modify the claim log entry from the claim log page for the load entered.
- Visibility of Dispute Log of Assigned Clients – Ability to view the Dispute Log entry created for a load. Cannot access the entire Claims Log to see all entries.
- Permission to Edit Dispute Log of Assigned Clients – Can Edit/Modify the dispute log entry from the dispute log page for the load entered.
- See Their Own Commissions – Ability to see their own commissioned amount on loads they are assigned to via Commissions.
- Create Manage Customer Account Logins – Ability to create and edit customer logins for their customer accounts.
- Edit Shipments – Ability to edit the commodity section of loads for their customers. Cannot make further edits to the commodity section once the load is invoiced – would need to have a staff with Accounting or higher make edits.
- Add Client, Edit Clients – Ability to create a customer in the system, however, the sales rep cannot assign a customer to themselves – this must be done by a staff with either Accounting, Manager or Admin.
- View Carrier Factors – User can view and create a carrier factor entry under Carriers.***
- View Carrier Groups – User can view and create a carrier group under Carriers. Able to assign and remove carriers from groups.***
- View Master Accounts – Ability to see Master Accounts and sub accounts associated with the master ONLY if the sales rep is assigned to the customer profile via Commissions. If the user is not assigned to a customer profile, then they cannot view/access the sub account customer profile associated with a master account.
- Invoice Assigned Loads- Sales rep must be on the load under the Commissions section in order to invoice the load.
- Ability To Edit Buy Sell Costs and Margin – Ability to edit the billed and cost amounts on their assigned loads up until the load is invoiced. Once load is invoiced, they will not be able to edit the fields unless granted a higher access level.
- Change The Client On A Load – Ability to change the customer and/or payor on a load prior to invoicing.
- View CRM – Can view the CRM section under Customers and only the entries that they create or have been assigned to them by upper level staff. Unable to export the CRM list.
