When you are receiving inbound 204 and 214 updates, your original pickup and delivery date and appointment window times may be changed by the EDI. If you wish to prevent the inbound 204 and 214s from updating these times you will need to turn this toggle on.
NOTE: This toggle will only impact customers with existing inbound 204 and 214 setups, this will not work if those setups do not exist.
- From the EDI menu, select “EDI Setup”
- Select Customer > choose the customer that has an inbound EDI setup and also select INBOUND as the direction. You will then see the option to check/uncheck the “Do not update date/time” box. Click “submit”
- Click “Submit”
- Once the setup is saved, on EDI Setup List via Edit button for the inbound EDI 214 or 204 entry, you can check/uncheck this function. This will affect EDI going forward.
- When enabled, inbound 204 updates and 214s will not update the original pickup and delivery date and window appointment times.
- If the On Time function is enabled, pickup and delivery arrival/departure date and times will still be updated with the tracking date via inbound 214.
