The “Rate Con” document was designed to be used prior to the dispatch doc, so the only difference is that it does not have the pickup #, ship date, ready and close times or delivery dates. It acts as someone of a “shell” for a generic pricing agreement on a shipment between the broker and the carrier. It is sent before you send the dispatch doc with all of the necessary pickup information (pickup #, pickup date and times, and delivery dates).
